Three years in the making, THE SOLE TURNAROUND sets off the debut collaboration between long-time artist, sound designer, voice actor, and now rapper Cas "CASUALRAD" Rodriguez-Miranda with producer and Fresh Produce Beat Battle winner LOBOTOMY WIFE under their joint label APEDOG Records. THE SOLE TURNAROUND is an underground hip-hop/rap album focused on the many thoughts and emotions one goes through in a single, busy, distracted day- from sunrise to sunset to sunrise again. It features incredible verses from long-time friends and rappers RICKY WOLFE and PAPERBOXHOUSE and instrumental accompaniment from musicians KEESH and GABRIEL VIANELLO. All support to this album goes towards further funding of newer projects by APEDOG Records, whether that being towards the solo work of CASUALRAD, LOBOTOMY WIFE, or both in another, eventual joint project. This is the biggest project either of us has ever undertaken, and considering that we are both perfectionists, it is no wonder that it took us so long. That being said, we believe that time was necessary to give you all a complete, thought-out, handcrafted album made with our love, our fears, our dreams, and our worries, all wrapped in a beautiful 40+ minute runtime. THE SOLE TURNAROUND bares our souls and hearts to you, the listener, and we trust you take that with the responsibility required to properly listen to, engage with, and appreciate music as it is meant to be: genuine and from the chest.
